Normally the word "carbon" is associated with "lightness and extreme delicacy", for Atk Bindings it is synonymous with "structure and resistance" to the least possible weight. Innovation remains the key ingredient.
C-Raider 12 is designed for all free touring enthusiasts for whom the weight is certainly important, but which are not willing to compromise in terms of performance. Thanks to the innovative "carbon" tip, the ambitious objective of obtaining a new standard of weight (only 305 gr) was achieved in a complete, simple attack, with performance at the level of the Raider family, thus going to expand and integrate L 'Free Touring offer by Atk Bindings. The heel is the same as Raider 12 (release 5-12). The vertical release is managed by the Cam Release System® which guarantees the best drop -down performance on the market with a substantial reduction in the scorpion of the boot in relation to any other Tech heel. In case of great compression, Elastic Response System® allows a natural ski flex thanks to an elastic sled of 12 mm. The new rear ski brake offers a great braking action together with a surprising ease of use and lightness. The updated version of the Magneto Heel Flap System® provides comfortable management of the heels' lifts, guaranteeing 5 walking modes. Freeride Spacer (cod: al09), fully adjustable, is available as an accessory.
Ear "Carbon"
The tip, made of 30%carbon fiber composite, represents a significant novelty for Atk Bindings: the performance of the material (weight/rigidity ratio) and the innovative structural design led to a weight reduction (compared to the raider tip 12 with an even simpler locking system) and to an improvement in performance and stability (compared to the Speed Touring top range, considering 10 g more than weight).
