Technical approach shoe designed for alpine guides and mountain workers looking for a high-performance product for approach and climbing.

TX Guide is the most technical shoe in the TX Series La Sportiva line. Dedicated to technical approaches and climbing, it is designed for alpine guides and mountain operators looking for a high-performance and long-lasting product. Versatile, light and protective, it is perfect for walk-run & climb approaches as suggested by the aesthetics derived from a perfect running/approach combination and the technical solutions of climbing conception (sole, edges and lacing). Adopts a new Tech Fit shape: dry and enveloping for maximum performance. It is very stable at the tip and allows you to maintain the edge when climbing. The highly abrasion-resistant mesh upper is made in a single layer to optimize internal volumes, with internal microfiber protective reinforcements and external TPU reinforcements to guarantee resistance to abrasions. The lacing is asymmetrical and approach-style up to the toe for maximum fit precision while the rear part recalls the Mythos Style aesthetic and allows for a perfect closure on the heel. The Climbing-inspired protective edge is made of lightweight PU-TECH Lite material. The construction of the tongue derives from the solutions applied to running shoes: the bellows prevents the entry of external elements during walking. The sole/midsole package is made with a double EVA with shock-absorbing compression on the heel and stabilizing on the forefoot: the front part of the midsole is co-molded with a TPU layer which simultaneously acts as a stabilizer of the climbing zone, medial shank and as a rock-guard layer on the forefoot. The Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip dual compound sole is the perfect combination of grip and durability while the pronounced heel facilitates braking downhill and provides greater grip uphill.
