Designed with the experience of years spent in the mountains, the Black Diamond Blitz is the answer for challenging climbs, making it the ultimate backpack for any excursion. With all the features of a summit backpack, the new Blitz backpacks are made with our new BD UHMWPE "Mini Rip" 100d fabric, giving them the ideal balance of ultra-durability, lightweight and extreme packability. The one-handed top closure simplifies use while protecting from the elements, and the removable design adds further weight savings, with a removable bivy mat. A color-coded red rope lanyard is easy to find, while the ice ax Pick Pockets™ have been updated with our new custom metal attachment for added security. Hydration system compatibility completes the feature set of a hiking backpack designed for every excursion.
