Offset friend measurements that represent The new standard in single-stem cams, the Camalot Z4 offset features the revolutionary RigidFlex stem design, which as the name suggests, remains rigid during positioning, but flexes when you move further up, providing smooth handling and less travel for a solid positioning you can count on.
Born from collaboration with our best BD athletes in trad climbing: Hazel Findlay, Carlo Traversi, Sam Elias and Babsi Zangerl, the Camalot Z4 offset is the realization of a dream: having a single-stem cam that remains stiff in the hand, but flexes once positioned: the RigidFlex stem (patent pending). Thanks to independent trigger pulls, the Camalot Z4 offset does not bend when under tension, but once positioned allows the stem to move, ensuring a positioning that stays put and does not move when pulled. The shank on the larger sizes also uses a double twisted cable construction that provides uniform flex in all directions, while on the smaller sizes the single cable construction prevents instability when pressing hard on the trigger. With a similar head width to our older Camalot C3 design, but with 4 lobes that are sandblasted for better tensile strength, the Z4 offsets are not only an upgrade, but are also available in smaller sizes, starting from .1/.2 up to .5/.75, allowing you to have all the sizes you need, for every situation.
