What are the main applications of Beal's Jammy?

The Jammy is ideal as a kevlar cord loop for knots such as Machard and Prusik, offering security and resistance to overheating. It is perfect for creating self-locking knots, lengthening protection or making quick ascenders, especially in climbing and rescue activities.

How does the Jammy ensure safety during use?

The Jammy is made of fireproof Kevlar with a pre-seam that ensures maximum hold, without sliding and without the need for knots. Its high resistance to overheating and breaking load of 22 kN offer reliability in highly stressed situations.

What lengths are available for the Jammy and which one to choose?

The Jammy is available in two lengths, 50 and 60 cm. The choice depends on the specific use: the shorter ropes are ideal for quick and compact connections, while the longer version offers greater versatility for applications on ropes of various sizes.

How do you care for and keep your Jammy in good condition?

To keep your Jammy looking its best, we recommend regularly checking the condition of the stitching and heat shrink sleeve. Cleaning it with warm water and drying it thoroughly helps preserve the properties of Kevlar and prolong its life.

Why choose the Jammy over other similar lanyard rings?

The Jammy stands out for its Kevlar pre-seam, which guarantees maximum tightness without slipping, and for its high resistance to overheating and stress. The quality of the material and the carefully studied design make it ideal for intensive and professional use.

The Beal Jammy is a pre-sewn Kevlar cord loop. Kevlar is a fireproof material, with a very high melting point, above 500 degrees, which is why it is suitable as a cord in all situations of rubbing and overheating, such as typically the Machard and Prusik knot. Normally purchasable by the meter, the Beal Jammy is a Kevlar ring available in two lengths, 50 and 60cm. The pre-sewing of the ring offers maximum guarantee of tightness, without any sliding and without the application of any knots

The Beal Jammy is a rope loop lanyard made with an aramid core and polyamide sock. Used as a Prusik it can be used on single and half ropes, on one or both half ropes. Perfect for creating a self-locking knot increasing safety during a rope descent, or for creating a ascender for a fast hoist. It can be used to lengthen a protector and for quick protectors.

Beal is a French company, world leader in the production of mountain ropes thanks to an advanced technological development in the manufacturing process which has earned it the ISO 9001 certificate. Always attentive to the needs of climbers, it has been able to bring dynamism to the practice of climbing thanks to intense research.
