What are the main advantages of the Huit compared to other figure eight descenders?

The Huit offers a square shape that reduces rope kinking and knot formation, ensuring a safer, smoother descent. It is made of high quality forged aluminium, ensuring strength and lightness.

How do you use the Huit for half rope or single rope descent?

The Huit is designed to be compatible with ropes from 8 to 13 mm in diameter. Simply insert it onto the rope and use standard descending techniques, using its hole for emergencies or as a belay plate.

Is the Huit also suitable for emergency or rescue use?

Yes, the Huit can be used as a plate in emergency situations thanks to its small hole which allows you to use a thin rope effectively and safely.

What is the weight of the Huit and how does it affect the ease of use?

The Huit weighs just 100 grams, making it extremely lightweight for climbing and mountaineering duties, without compromising its robustness and safety in use.

What material is the Huit made of and how resistant is it?

The Huit is made of high-strength forged aluminum, which guarantees durability, safety and reliability even under conditions of intense and prolonged use.
