Providing ultra-lightweight, low-profile protection, unprecedented ventilation and a secure, super-comfortable fit, the Black Diamond Vapor helmet is a crag helmet for tackling not only multi-pitch trad climbs but also big alpine faces.
We designed a Kevlar sheet and a series of carbon rods between the co-molded EPS foam and a polycarbonate shell to keep weight to a minimum and protect you. The Vapor's ratchet suspension tucks into the helmet for compact storage in your backpack or travel bag, and removable headband clips.
