When the mountain shows its teeth, this is the shell you want to have with you. The Alpha SV Jacket it is designed to withstand extremely severe conditions, demanding ascents and prolonged exposure in the world's most hostile alpine terrain. Made of sturdy GORE-TEX PRO ePE 100D, offers constant waterproof, windproof and breathable protection, along with exceptional resistance that allows you to keep climbing even when the mountain is at its worst.

This updated version adopts the new GORE-TEX PRO ePE 100D, Arc'teryx's most durable waterproof-breathable protection, now even lighter and stronger than before, all without intentionally added PFAS. A RECCO® reflector low profile, hidden in the hood visor, improves traceability in emergency situations. The internal load capacity has also been expanded with two new internal dump pockets, ideal for gloves or hat, as well as a internal security pocket with zip to store valuables.

Product recommendation: the new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but maintains the same strength and durability as the materials used previously. You may notice that the outer fabric tends to soak through slightly faster in products with an ePE membrane, but this in no way compromises the waterproofness of the membrane itself. If you notice faster absorption than expected, simply wash the jacket and dry it to remove oily residues and fully restore the effectiveness of the DWR treatment.
