After the successes of 2005 and 2011, here it is third edition, whose many innovations have forced the discussion of a first volume dedicated entirely to the Susa Valley and a second with the valleys further south, which will be released in 2022.
This guide, dedicated to the largest and most populated valley in Piedmont, includes over 400 pages and 120 crags from Avigliana to Bardonecchia and Claviere, without neglecting the cliffs just over the French border.
Elio Cacchio was born in Turin in '73 in the shadow of the Mole Antonelliana where in '90, on the terrace of his home, he built his first climbing wall on which he laid the foundations for entering the world of competitions. His passion for sport and the mountains distracted him, even today he says "temporarily", from the Faculty of Economics and Commerce but led him to accompany the birth of the Bside climbing gym in Turin (designed after a few hours of Autocad practice) until the transfer to the current headquarters in 2004. There he opened his first shop for mountain items which, a few years later, he added the online sales activity. Today there are four Bshop stores and the site sells items throughout Europe... while Elio discovers a second youth on the clay courts and among sailing sports.
