Belay device with cam-assisted locking optimized for lead climbing
You will prefer insurance to climbing! NEOX is an assisted locking belay device for the gym and crag. Ideal for lead climbing, it has an integrated wheel that guarantees extremely smooth sliding of the rope to quickly give rope to the climber. The ergonomic handle allows you to comfortably control the descent. It is used with all single ropes with a diameter between 8.5 and 11 mm.
Belay device with cam-assisted locking optimized for lead climbing:
- allows belaying of lead climbing and top rope climbing,
- optimized for lead climbing, thanks to the wheel integrated into the device to allow a fluid sliding of the rope to give rope to the climber even more easily and quickly,
- comfort of belaying, thanks to cam-assisted locking: in the event of a fall or rest of the climber, the rope tightens, the wheel locks, then the cam rotates and tightens the rope to lock it.
Ease of use:
- simplicity of installation of the rope, thanks to the markings engraved on the belayer,
- technique common to all Petzl belay devices, based on the accompaniment of the rope in the device and the permanent holding of one hand on the braking side rope,
- cam-assisted locking which guarantees high tolerance of the braking side hand position, regardless of the angle between the climber's rope and the braking side,
- compatible with all dynamic single strings from 8.5 to 11 mm and optimized for strings with diameters between 8.9 and 10.5 mm.
Lowering control:
- comfortable grip and ease of unlocking the rope, thanks to the ergonomic handle,
- reduction of the handle by 3 for better control of the sliding of the rope with small diameters and less effort on the handle for large diameters of rope.
Eco-design: all plastic elements, including the handle, are designed in recycled polyamide.
