Kids' R1® TechFace Jacket it is a technical jacket designed for active children who need a versatile layer capable of combining the warmth of a fleece with the weather resistance of a lightweight softshell. Warm, stretchy and highly breathable, it's designed to handle variable conditions during hiking, sporting activities and everyday use. The abrasion- and moisture-resistant outer fabric makes it ideal as an outer layer in mid-season or as a mid-layer on colder days. The garment is produced in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.
Specifications and features
Stretch and resistant TechFace® fabric: made of double-weave composed of 90% recycled polyester and 10% elastane, it offers the comfort and breathability typical of R1® fleece, adding an external surface that is more resistant to abrasion and variable weather conditions.
Light wind and moisture protection: the smooth exterior surface is treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish with no intentionally added PFAS, helping to repel light rain, snow and moisture.
High breathability for dynamic activities: the fabric maintains heat without excessively retaining moisture, promoting comfort during hiking, outdoor play and high-intensity sporting activities.
Full zip closure with protective collar: the full zip makes it easy to adjust ventilation, while the raised collar protects from wind and cold. The zip garage increases comfort in contact with the chin.
Side zip pockets: two hand-warmer pockets integrated into the seams allow you to store small essential items safely during outdoor activities.
Cuffs with thumb holes: Integrated vents keep sleeves in place during movement and improve hand coverage on cooler days.
Elastic finishes against the cold: the binding on the cuffs helps retain body heat and limit the entry of cold air.
Dropped back hem: The lightweight drop-tail hem offers added back coverage during movement and when wearing a backpack.
Crosslayer versatility: the TechFace® construction is particularly appreciated for its ability to function both as an outer layer in dry conditions and as a midlayer under a waterproof jacket in the most demanding conditions.
