GRIGRI + is an insurer with assisted braking system and anti-panic handle. Can be used with all single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm. Thanks to the reinforcement plate, it is suitable for intensive use in the gym and on the crag. The reduction of the handle guarantees exceptional control of the descent. A selector button allows you to choose between two belaying modes: top rope or lead climbing. The top belay method and the anti-panic handle are effective GRIGRI + particularly suitable for training.

Detailed description

Belay device with assisted braking system compatible with all diameters of single ropes, for practice in the gym and on the crag:
- common technique, based on the accompaniment of the rope in the device and the permanent holding of one hand on the braking side rope,
- comfort of belaying, thanks to the assisted braking system: in the event of a climber's fall, the device rotates on the carabiner, the rope is tensioned and the cam tightens the rope to brake it. The hand, which holds the braking side rope, allows you to activate the cam and therefore you must always hold the braking side rope,
- compatible with all dynamic single strings from 8.5 to 11 mm and optimized for strings with diameters between 8.9 and 10.5 mm,
- installation drawing on the rope engraved on the belayer (inside and outside),
- excellent resistance, for intensive use, thanks to the stainless steel reinforcement plate.
Exceptional comfort during descent:
- comfortable grip and ease of unlocking the rope, thanks to the ergonomic handle,
- very progressive control of the sliding of the rope to guarantee a smooth and comfortable descent.
Particularly suitable for training and supervisors:
- anti-panic handle: if the belayer pulls the handle too hard, the anti-panic function activates and stops the descent,
- choice of belay mode, top rope or lead climbing, thanks to the selection button: the top belay mode facilitates rope recovery and guarantees more comfortable belaying,
