Designed for climbing, mountaineering and ski mountaineering, the METEOR helmet is light, compact and equipped with excellent ventilation which guarantees comfortable use, in summer and winter. The wrap-around design provides reinforced protection across the entire head. METEOR is the first CE certified ski mountaineering helmet. The optimal integration of a ski goggle makes it a helmet with a refined style and optimized for the practice of ski mountaineering. This helmet does not meet the requirements of the helmet standard for alpine skiers EN 1077.

Detailed description

Lightweight, compact and ventilated helmet:
- only 240 g,
- In-Mold construction, with an internal EPS foam shell injected under a thin polycarbonate shell, which promotes compactness on the head,
- large ventilation holes for excellent ventilation,
- accurate finishes and sober design.
Reinforced protection:
- design according to the TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION brand by Petzl,
- wraparound design for optimal protection against side, front and rear impacts.
Suitable for ski mountaineering:
- first CE certified ski mountaineering helmet,
- optimal ventilation when ascending and descending. The helmet can be worn easily from the beginning to the end of the excursion,
- designed for use with a ski mask, thanks to the specific front design of the helmet,
- rear elastic compatible with ski goggle bands,
- semi-rigid headband for easy adjustment, even with gloves,
- two front hooks and a rear elastic to attach a headlamp.

NB: This helmet does not meet the requirements of the helmet standard for alpine skiers EN 1077.
